The development of scientific retrospective studies based on clinical, neuroimaging, and resting state EEG data collected by the key researchers of the Consortium in the framework of their historical and current clinical activities.

The publication of the results of those retrospective studies in international journals of Neurosciences, Neurology, Dementia, or Clinical Neurophysiology with peer review and significant impact factor.

The preparation of proposals of symposia and training courses in response to calls launched by national and international conferences in the field of Clinical Neurosciences, Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, Neurodegenerative and Cerebrovascular dementing disorders, etc.

The preparation of proposals of research projects in response to calls launched by national and international sponsors of scientific activities.

Studies

The scientific retrospective EEG studies of the “PDWAVES” Consortium are freely promoted and developed by one or more key researchers. The key researcher(s) promoting a given retrospective EEG study plays the role of principal Author(s) in the paper that may derive from that study. The other key researchers freely decide to participate or not participate in the action. The key researcher(s) promoting that study uses local financial and human resources to finalize the scientific action and pays the publication fee of the paper when required by the Publisher. All key researchers involved in the study are co-authors of the paper and have to ensure the ethical clearance of the data collection in their local clinical studies at the basis of the study and the respect of good clinical and scientific practices in data collection, management, and analysis.

The preparation of those proposals is freely promoted and developed by one or more key researchers of the “PDWAVES” Consortium. The key researcher(s) promoting a given proposal may ask other key researchers to participate in the action, and those researchers are free to contribute.

Dissemination

In the publications of the Consortium, the views and opinions expressed are full personal responsibility of the Authors of those publications and not of their affiliations or the Consortium as a whole. The Authors of any publication of the Consortium have to accept the version of the manuscript to be submitted to the journal of interest.

The dissemination activities of the “PDWAVES” Consortium regard the public communications of the results of the EEG studies in the social media, standard media (radio, TV, etc.) or conferences after those results are already accepted for the publication by an international journal of Neurosciences, Neurology, Dementia, or Clinical Neurophysiology. The views and opinions expressed in each public communication are full personal responsibility by whom signs that communication but not by his/her affiliation or the Consortium as a whole
